Karen is a much beloved optometrist who practices at Gibbons Optical in Rochester, MN. She started in the optical business as an optician and has 36 years of optical craziness under her belt. Outside of the industry, she is a tree hugger, recycler, thrifter, traveler, wife of Brent and mother of Wonder Woman.
She is passionate about gardening and proudly defends her title as the Bean Queen, having raised 7 types of beans to dry last year. She looks forward to planting even more new types of beans come spring. Luckily for Brent and their garden, Karen is willing to weed and tend in the heat of July and August.
Karen is a hula-hooper, cross-country skier and snowshoer, and she enjoys trying new fitness trends, such as kettle bells, TRX, Pound, Zumba, and SUP. She is always looking for ways to improve both her and her family’s wellness: After all, Wonder Woman needs to be healthy.
